The School of Professional Development for Teachers

The School of Professional Development for Teachers at Kaye College is a center dedicated to both the professional and personal advancement of educators in the southern region.

We believe that ongoing study and specialization throughout a teacher’s career is vital to the teacher’s own advancement and contributes to the educational system and consequently to the students’ development.

The continuing education courses that the School of Professional Development offers are diverse, adapted to the newest trends in education today and are tailored to the genuine needs of the teachers, schools, regions and the Ministry of Education.

At the School of Professional Development, we understand the importance of expanding a teacher’s areas of interest, as well as broadening and improving teaching quality. Our goal is to develop educators who will spearhead the educational efforts in their respective places of activity.

The continuing education courses are taught by lecturers who are experts in their fields. Each lesson is based on a combination of current theoretical information and its practical application, incorporating innovative information technologies. The programs promote the formation of a learning community and dialogue between colleagues, thereby accompanying the teachers and their schools as they implement new methods they have learned.
