M.Teach – ‘Teachers Who Care’

The M.Teach program at Kaye Academic College of Education is a two-year graduate program that combines a second academic degree (Master of Teaching) and a teaching certificate for high school in various disciplines.

The program aims to educate teachers to become professionals in teaching and learning processes in the 21st century, and to become “teachers who care” about their students’ lives.

By taking this course, they will be able to enhance their students’ personalities through dialogue and collaboration, and will come to see their profession as a social mission.

The program offers a dialogic learning environment which combines theory and practice, involving the students in reflecting on their personal identities as prospective teachers and conducting research into their educational experiences.

The program’s faculty consists of a team of very experienced teacher educators, whose professional lives are devoted to training innovative, passionate and knowledgeable teachers.
